Pre-Paid Taxis / Auto

At the railway station there is also a convenient facility of ‘Pre-Paid Taxi‘, managed by the local Police. Go to the ‘Prepaid Auto-Rickshaw Booth‘, request for a rickshaw for the Ashram by giving the address to the guy at the counter. You will have to pay there itself, the amount will be around Rs 75.00 to Rs 100. You get a receipt with the number of the vehicle. Take that rickshaw. Keep the receipt with you only – till you reach your destination, then you have to give this receipt to the driver of the Rickshaw, who will get the money from the booth person later. Such systems are safe and they take you to your destination from the shortest route.
