The policy of VHF regarding organizing
Spiritual Heritage of India Camps is to focus its energy only for
conducting the Camps rather than organizing them. We believe that the
best people of every field should manage various aspects of the Camp,
that way we get the best and can also give out our best. So we just
present some guidelines & parameters in which these Camps shall be
conducted. VHF will go into organizing the Camps in very rare
situations & circumstances.
Anyone who can get the following organized
can undertake the task of organizing the 'Spiritual Heritage of India'
Camps. We prefer to have some professionals to undertake this
responsibility. The parameters which need to be taken into
consideration for organizing these Camps are :
1. Participants:
To organize a Camp we require a minimum of
25 participants, and a maximum of 40. This is to facilitate individual
interaction. The participants should be sincere aspirants capable of
staying for four days in one place in some basic discipline. They
should be fairly healthy, capable of understanding English or Hindi
language, in which these Camps can be possibly conducted. They should
be comfortable with vegetarian diet for these days.
Camp by its very nature is a dedicated
full-time program, and the participants will need to give all the four
days entirely for this work. Camps are not piece-meal packages. The
best results are seen when there is a full participation & dedication.
Delegates will be expected to attend all the sessions. We welcome
serious & sincere participants, who would like to learn. On our part
we shall try to make the best of arrangements, yet we expect the
participants to have great value for knowledge, and more important,
have desire & daring to directly experience the unique & tough way of
life of the spiritual masters.
2. Place:
SHI Camps can be organized in any place
having a quiet & natural ambiance. The place should have necessary
infra-structure which fulfills the requirements & standards of foreign
visitors. Participants should get the options of staying in separate
or common rooms. Clean place, good food, communication facilities,
basic security and elevating surroundings. The place should have a
quiet Hall with comfortable seating arrangements, good Public Address
System and a LCD Projector. Entry in the talk sessions will be
restricted.
The place for Camps can be any institutional
campus, resort, ship, or a tented accommodation.
3. Arrangements:
Food during the Camps has to be vegetarian,
and alcohol will not be permitted. The cuisine will predominantly be
Indian or Continental, and within this category choices will be
available. Outside food will not be allowed.
We aim for the best available arrangements.
The motto of VHF is to ‘get the best & give the best’. So accordingly,
we have one of the foremost teachers of Vedanta to give the knowledge,
top level management professional to run the show, we plan to involve
well known Tour Operators to get the participants for Camps, and
involve proven hospitality industry people to take care of food & stay
arrangements.
4. Expenses:
The Expenses will have to be worked out on
case to case basis depending upon the place & participants. Our
priority is however, not money but spreading greater 'Love & Light'
all over the world, with the help of the timeless Spiritual Heritage
of India, so the expenses will be minimum, but taking care of the
standards followed during the Camp. Any Tour Operator who wishes to
organize such Camps for his groups may feel free to contact us for
further details.
