Introduction of Ashram :

Vedanta Ashram was established in 1995 at Indore with the blessings of our Poojya Guruji Sri Swami Atmanandaji. Various devotees contributed their mite to help build the ashram. It is the base station of Poojya Guruji and all our Mission Mahatmas. Vedanta Ashram is a small yet a modern gurukula for the teaching the ancient knowledge of Advaita Vedanta. The ashram has facilities for regular classes, meditation, a Shiva temple, an open air terrace auditorium, library, four guest rooms, well-equipped modern kitchen, dining, sitting and all other basic infra structure. The entire web site of Vedanta Mission has been created by and is managed by the mahatmas of the ashram alone. Poojya Guruji and all his students are adept in using computers, and all of them have their own personal computers. Learning to use these modern means is part of their training. Vedanta Ashram is a living example of holistic living, were the best of east & west meet.

Initially Vedanta Ashram was on the outskirts of the city, but within a decade the city has caught up with us, and we have civilization all over. Google Maps give our location as follows: 22.686979,75.827256, and the locality can be seen in the Google Maps by clicking here.
